Silver ( SI=F ) September futures opened at $58.12 per ounce on Thursday, July 16, 2026 , up 1.2% compared to Wednesday's closing price of $57.43. The silver price is moving even lower this morning, reaching $57.07 as of 8:15 a.m. ET.
